How to Edit a Product List

A product list is a content block that displays your products. This article shows how to work with your product lists. If you do not know how to add a product list to your online store, you can see how in the article Add a Product List.

To edit your product list, start by clicking the product list. The menu that appears has the following options: Add product, Manage products, Layout and Delete.

• Add Product

Enables you to add a new product to the displayed category. More information on creating products can be found in the article Add Products.

• Manage Products

This will show the products in the category which the product list includes. From here you can manage the category. More information on managing categories can be found in the article Creating and Editing Categories. 

• Layout 

Enables you to select how to display the products with four settings: Style, Show products and Product filter.

1. Style gives you will have 4 design options for displaying the products. Basic has smaller images and products will show side-by-side. Large Image has bigger images and products will appear side-by-side. Slider shows one product at a time automatically with the option to change manually with arrows. Carousel shows multiple products at once automatically with the option to change manually with arrows.
   
   
2. Grid columns is the selection of how many products should be visible at once. This option is not available if Style Slider is selected.
   
   
3. Show products is where you alter which product category the product list should display.
   
   
4. Product filter enabled you to list multiple product categories in a menu in the product list. The categories that appear in the menu are the selected category and its sub-categories, given that they contain at least 1 product. If you have selected Show all products under the setting Show products, then all product categories will also appear in the menu. The ability to add filters is only possible with the Basic and Large image layout of products.
   

• Delete

If you would like to delete a product list click the button trash can button. Then, confirm your desire to delete the product listing by clicking Delete. The product list will be removed from that specific page but your products are still available in your online store. You can see and edit them by clicking the PRODUCTS button in the upper menu.
